    [size=45]The Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Mrs. Evan Faeq Gabbro, chaired the meeting of the expanded opinion committee at the headquarters of the ministry, in the presence of all its members from the advanced owners and general directors. Concerning the registration of Syrians on the land of the country, in addition to discussing the ministry's plan for the current year 2021.[/size]
    [size=45] The meeting resulted in several decisions, including the formation of a specialized committee from the departments (branches, legal affairs, information and research) for the purpose of setting up a working mechanism to implement the decision of the Supreme Committee for Relief and Support for Internally Displaced Persons, number 888, in its third and fourth paragraphs, which stipulate the mandate of the Ministry of Immigration to close the files of displaced persons wishing to remain in the areas of displacement. And the integration into society of those who do not wish to return to their areas of origin and according to the directives of the Iraqi government to find appropriate solutions and treatments for them and end the displacement file in the provinces according to a separate database, adding that the commission also decided to extend the registration period for Syrians in the previous decision No. The period becomes six months and expedite the registration of Syrians in the camps in accordance with National Security Council Resolution No. 9 of 2019 and prepare a database for them. Moreover, the Opinion Commission decided to approve the Ministry’s annual plan for the current year 2021.[/size]
