{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Planning announced today, Monday, that the Central Bureau of Statistics has completed its technical and administrative preparations to implement an integrated survey of the social and health conditions of women in Iraq.
"The aforementioned survey is of great developmental importance, as it will contribute to providing statistical indicators that pertain to Iraqi women," said the ministry’s spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, in a statement.
He added, "These indicators will include the health aspect of women and their empowerment, and the promotion of reproductive health, as well as demographic and social characteristics, which aim to measure the cost of violence against women, and the impact of the Corona pandemic."
