The media office of the Minister of Interior, Othman Al-Ghanmi, revealed, on Monday, the details of the latter's meeting with the Prime Minister and the Qatari Minister of Interior, Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.
The office stated in a statement that "Al-Ghanimi met with the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani," noting that "Al-Ghanmi conveyed the greetings and peace of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, to the government and people of the State of Qatar."
The statement added, "The meeting discussed a number of issues of common interest, as this visit comes with an official invitation from the State of Qatar to attend the 13th International Exhibition of Internal Security and Civil Defense / Milipol Qatar 2021 /".
The two sides reviewed "the bilateral relations between the two countries and the means to support and develop them, especially in the security fields and the exchange of experiences in a way that achieves common interests."
