[size=15]The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, on Monday, that there is a great response by the Kurdistan region to the requests made by the blocs, indicating that some blocs are still adhering to their rejectionist opinion, which causes the session to vote on the budget not to take place .[/size]
[size=15]A member of the committee, Mahasin Hamdoun, told NRT Arabia, (March 29, 2021), that "despite finding solutions to many controversial materials, there are some points under discussion in the scenes of the meetings of the heads of the blocs."[/size]
[size=15]She added that "the budget was approved within the Parliamentary Finance Committee, and we waited until late at night only, waiting for consensus in order to enter the session, but the blocs did not reach a decision on this, which prevented the holding session of voting on the budget," expressing "her hope to reach solutions that satisfy all." [size=15]Regarding the articles related to the sale of state assets, Hamdoun said, "These materials are still included in the draft budget and must be presented for reading during the voting session, and if they are approved, they will be implemented. But if they are rejected by members of Parliament, they will be canceled."[/size]
[size=15]The two blocks of the rule of law and the national approach had announced their position to boycott the voting session on the federal budget for the fiscal year 2021 until the implementation of a number of demands that were put forward by them, including the amendment of Article (11) regarding the share of the Kurdistan region.[/size]
