A security [size=15]source said , on Tuesday, that a suspended prison sentence had been issued against Jaafar al-Moussawi, political spokesman for the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr .[/size]
[size=15]The source told NRT Arabia, (April 13, 2021), that "the judiciary has issued a ruling against the political spokesman for the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr Jaafar al-Mousawi and the deputy head of the movement’s political body, to imprisonment for one year with a stay of execution."[/size]
[size=15]The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity , added, "The ruling included imposing a fine of 10 million dinars, and confiscating Al-Mousawi's property as a result of illegal gain."[/size]
