The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan Al-Kaabi, issued today, Thursday, a directive regarding the work of parliamentary committees.

The Alsumaria News correspondent in Parliament said that the deputy speaker directed from inside the parliament hall the parliamentary committees to expedite the preparation of important and priority laws in order to be approved during the upcoming sessions of the House of Representatives.

It is hoped that Parliament will hold its scheduled session this day, but most expectations indicate the possibility of postponing it for many reasons, foremost among which is the modesty of the articles listed for discussion, as well as the absence of many MPs from attending.
