Today, Tuesday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi directed the governors, civil defense and company leaders to take the necessary measures to protect the Electoral Commission’s warehouses.
A spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Haider Majid, said in a statement to the official agency, "The Prime Minister directed that the governors, civil defense and police leaders take the necessary measures to double the number of protections and civil defense employees, to protect the warehouses of the Independent High Electoral Commission, and under the supervision of the governor."
He added, "This directive came to preserve the sobriety of the electoral process, and in anticipation of any emergency or obstacle that would impede its progress."
