She pointed out that "the projects will be presented in full with their approvals and planning," noting that "the commission and within two weeks will be able to obtain all approvals as long as there is support from all state bodies."
She pointed out that "the approvals of the owners were obtained by a decision of the Council of Ministers, and now work is underway with regard to roads and environmental impacts, and then work will begin by receiving companies' requests."
She stressed, "There are companies that have submitted to work on the project, but the commission will not currently receive any offers and will not be evaluated until the project is fully studied and submitted for competition in the media to be awarded to the best investors."
Regarding the Basmaya residential complex, Al-Najjar said, "The volume of requests to buy apartments within the Basmaya complex by citizens and ministries is very large and exceeds the number of available apartments twice as much."
She noted that "the commission has suspended purchases until allocating apartments for all applicants, especially those in need, and government agencies and ministries."
The National Investment Authority obtained the approval of the Council of Ministers, in its regular session held on Tuesday 15/6/2021, to allocate an area of 106 thousand dunums within the area surrounding Baghdad International Airport, to supervise the establishment of the Rafael City project as an administrative capital that supports its counterparts in neighboring countries.
