A high-ranking security delegation arrives in Erbil for an expanded meeting

{Umniah: Al Furat News} The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived on Tuesday in Erbil Governorate to hold an expanded meeting with the Peshmerga Chief of Staff.
The Operations Command stated in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that "Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations, the Commander of the Land Forces, the Director of Military Intelligence, and a number of senior security leaders arrived in Erbil Governorate."
She added, "The reason for the delegation's arrival to hold an expanded meeting with the Peshmerga Chief of Staff is for joint cooperation between the federal security units, the Regional Guard forces and the Peshmerga, exchanging intelligence information, and discussing joint coordination on operations to combat the terrorist organization ISIS and the provisions of control over areas of common interest and follow-up on issues related to the two sides."
