Minister: Restarting 15 government factories in Iraq
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Minister of Industry, Manhal Al-Khabbaz, revealed on Saturday that 15 government factories have been restarted in the country.
Khabbaz said in a press conference from Mosul, attended by Shafak News Agency correspondent, that "the number of state-owned factories, which were suspended, reaches 85 factories."
He added, "The ministry has succeeded in completely restarting 15 of them, while work is underway to restart three other factories during the coming period."
As for the government’s performance in general, he said that Al-Kazemi’s government “came under critical conditions, and the Corona pandemic had a significant impact on its performance.”
And he added, "Despite the lack of time, it achieved a lot, knowing that what it accomplished did not meet the level of ambition," as he put it.
