The coordination framework is moving to agree on the candidates for the three presidencies
Shafaq News/ The State of Law coalition revealed, on Saturday, the movement of the leadership of the coordination framework, which includes Shiite political forces, to form an alliance and agree on the formula for selecting candidates for the three presidencies.
The leader of the coalition, Kati' al-Rikabi, told Shafaq News Agency, "There is a higher committee composed of all parties to the coordination framework whose mission is to meet the political forces, including the Alliance of Resolve and Progress and the Kurdish parties."
Al-Rikabi added, "One of the tasks of the Supreme Committee in the coordinating framework is to meet with the leadership of the Sadrist movement as well," noting that "the meetings began with a meeting of resolve and will meet with progress, the Kurdish parties and the Sadrist movement during the coming period."
Al-Rikabi explained that "the meetings are a prelude to the formation of a political alliance after the issuance of the Federal Court's decision and the approval of the election results," stressing that "the move to the political meetings is to agree on the formula for selecting candidates for the republican presidencies, ministers and the House of Representatives."
It is noteworthy that the coordinating framework forces had announced earlier the recruitment of a number of independent representatives, as well as some other lists from outside the framework, which increases the number of seats in the framework and expands the space for their negotiating movement.
