Saad Fayyad, Director General of the Parliamentary Development Institute, received the Iraqi Digital Communication Award 22, presented by the Iraqi Digital Track Board of Directors in recognition of his great efforts in supporting programs aimed at creating effective community marketing rules for rational local digital use.
Fayyad said in his speech at the National Forum for Digital Communication held by the Digital Path Foundation on baghdad hall in the Iraqi Fishing Club, in the presence of undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Nofal Abu Lof and a selection of
Leading journalists, academics and social media activists, the Parliamentary Development Institute has given the issue of digital transformation, including digital media, great importance to supporting the transformations that place Iraq among the developed countries in this field.
Fayyad pointed out that the Institute is determined to carry out various activities to educate the importance of digital media and recommend legislation on digital media or amend the laws currently in force to include digital media, expressing the institute's willingness to cooperate with organizations and institutions specialized in the digital field in order to possess the tools of change and benefit the decision makers from these transformations, which contributes to keeping pace with the progress that is taking place in the world and reflects positively on the legislative work.
Fayyad, who was awarded the Iraqi Digital Communication Award 22" and a certificate of appreciation from the Foundation, thanked Abu Lohif and Dr. Safad al-Shammari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Iraqi Digital Track, wishing lasting success and continuous work to promote the reality of digital transformations in Iraq.
Ali Saad, director of the Media Division at the Parliamentary Development Institute in the House of Representatives, received the Iraqi Digital Communication Medal, presented by the Iraqi Digital Track Board of Directors, in recognition of his great efforts in supporting track programs aimed at creating effective community marketing rules for rational local digital use.
For his part, al-Shammari stressed the importance of the great role played by the Institute for Parliamentary Development with the start of the new session of the House of Representatives, in the field of digital skills development, providing awareness and establishing convictions of the importance of regulating the Iraqi digital field with legislation, which is the most prominent dilemma facing the executive and judicial authorities in the face of the products of digital randomness.
Al-Shammari said the National Digital Communication Forum includes several events aimed at creating national partnerships to organize the Iraqi digital field in all vital areas.
The forum included the announcement of a range of partnerships and understandings with government, community, private and elitist institutions.
