    Today, Tuesday, the Oil Products Distribution Company issued a statement in response to the Association of Fuel Distributors in the Southern Governorates, describing it as a provocateur.
    The company said in a statement that Al-Nour News received a copy of it, that "some social media and media sites circulated a statement by the official of the Association of Fuel Distributors in the Southern Region, in which he incited a strike and a reluctance to provide services to citizens."
    She added, "The Oil Products Distribution Company would like to show that the contractual relationship between the company and the fuel filling stations is a service relationship, meaning that the company seeks to provide oil derivatives to citizens and reach every place of the country through private stations and at the same time give an ideal space to work with the private sector." Because it is convinced that it is the perfect back-up for the public oil sector.”
    She explained that "the private oil sector and fuel distributors are supported by the company, and the relationship between the two parties guarantees a profit margin for the private oil sector agreed upon between the two sides," noting that "the company will spare no effort in supporting the private oil sector according to the limits of the powers and the provisions of the laws in force."
    She pointed out that "incitement to strike and stop the work of filling stations constitutes a crime for which the law will be held accountable because this act represents a disruption of public utilities found to serve citizens, and that any delay that affects them will negatively affect the security and stability of the concerned governorates," noting that "the company reserves its legal right towards all Whoever tries to obstruct the delivery of service to the citizen and disrupt his interests, given that fuel represents the backbone of life in any country and society.”
    The company called on the objectors to “take legal means to object and keep people’s interests away from any threat stemming from a personal benefit,” stressing that “government and built fuel filling stations are operating at their maximum capacity without the availability of products at all stations.”
    The head of the Association for the Defense of the Oil Sector, Falah Al-Hamdani, announced today, Tuesday, the closure of all gas stations, tomorrow, Wednesday, in three governorates.
