Kurdistan Islamic Union member Karwan Muhammad announced, on Monday, that his party will boycott next Wednesday's session devoted to electing the president of the republic.

. Muhammad said in an interview with "Al-Maalouma" agency, that "the Kurdistan Islamic Union will not participate in Wednesday's session because of the Tripartite Alliance's attempt to confiscate opinions under duress."
He added, "The country's situation requires reliance on the negotiation angle to get out of the current political crisis, and not intransigence in opinion and adherence to imposing the will on the rest of the political blocs."
It should be noted that the Iraqi parliament failed to hold its session yesterday, Saturday, due to the boycott of the guarantor third and their failure to attend the session. finished/25
