    Baghdad/Sky Press

Sources familiar with the negotiations of the blocs and political parties regarding the formation of the new government revealed that the coordination framework sought to conduct the experience of holding a parliamentary session after Eid al-Fitr, which leads to determining the largest parliamentary bloc, and naming the presidents of the republic and ministers, coinciding with a new political movement that arose after the Iraqi judiciary released the prominent politician And the former minister, Rafie Al-Issawi.

Last Sunday, the investigation court specialized in terrorism cases in Rusafa, Baghdad, completed the investigation with Al-Issawi after he surrendered to the relevant investigation authorities, and he denied what was attributed to him, and therefore the evidence in those cases accused in accordance with the anti-terrorism law was denied, and it was decided to release him and close the cases against him temporarily.

In a subsequent statement to the Judicial Council, he stated that Al-Issawi is wanted for other cases, some of which are still under trial in the Criminal Court and Misdemeanors Court, and the other is under investigation in the Rusafa Investigation Court.

Al-Issawi surrendered to the Iraqi judiciary in mid-June 2020, in preparation for his retrial.

In December 2018, the Ministry of Finance issued a ministerial order deciding to acquit al-Issawi and 6 other people for lack of sufficient evidence against them.

Al-Issawi's return to the political scene again, recalculated the political forces - specifically Sunni - divided between the Alliance to Save the Nation with the Sadrist Movement and the Democratic Party, and another group aligned with the coordination framework, and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

The independent Iraqi politician, Saad al-Mutalibi, said in a press statement that after the release of Rafie al-Issawi (a prominent politician), a new round of talks began with the Sunni side, referring to information that the Speaker of Parliament and a leader in the Sovereignty Alliance, Muhammad al-Halbousi, is concerned about al-Issawi's return to the political arena. And he was pressuring him to stay in prison, but in the end, the Iraqi judiciary had his say.

Al-Muttalib believed that the political situation in the country is heading in several directions; Including the repercussions of the splits within the Kurdistan Democratic Party, due to their entry into an alliance with the Sadrist movement, led by Muqtada al-Sadr, and their annoyance about that, not to mention the dispute between al-Halbousi and the leader in the Sadrist movement, the first deputy speaker of parliament, Hakim al-Zamili, revealing at the same time news of the change of al-Zamili With another character to end this dispute
