Earth News/ The Badr bloc commented today, Tuesday, on Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi's intention to withdraw from the political process.
The leader of the bloc, Muhammad al-Bayati, told "Earth News" that "there is no intention of any political bloc, whether it is winning or not, with an intention to withdraw from the political process, and this applies to Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi or others."
Al-Bayati added that "these are just pressures on the other blocs for the sake of privileges and maintaining the positions that he obtained from the first session and the way in which the presidency of the parliament was formed."
Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi announced, at dawn today, Tuesday, in a tweet on his personal page on Twitter, his intention to reconsider his entire participation in the political process in Iraq.
