The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, called on Monday for the imposition of sanctions against the groups that targeted the Khabat district in Erbil, calling for the formation of a joint committee to take the necessary measures to control those areas.
Barzani said in a statement received by Earth News: "I strongly condemn and condemn the missile attack that took place last night on the borders of Khabat district, calling on the Federal Prime Minister to take the necessary steps to impose sanctions against the outlaw sabotage groups, and to form a joint committee to take the necessary measures to control the situation." Those areas that have become a threat to the stability and security of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.”
He added, "These attacks must not continue anymore, there must be a serious attitude, and practical measures must be taken to end these attacks." Ended 29/R77
