The Ministry of Justice has developed a new mechanism to count the properties belonging to state institutions to protect them from manipulation and forgery.
Murad Al-Saadi, Director of the Ministry’s Relations and Media Department, told Al-Sabah: “The ministry aims through this step to inventory the properties, real estate and lands belonging to government institutions.”
He added that “a mechanism has been prepared to inventory them and create a special database for them to ensure their preservation and prevent them from being seized by some fraudulent individuals,” indicating that “the Minister of Justice directed the formation of a committee headed by the administrative undersecretary of the ministry and membership of the real estate registry for the purpose of immediate work on the inventory process, and the work will begin at the Ministry of Justice and then proceed to other ministries and government institutions.”
