Government completes diplomatic action plan

Nothing can stop the government from implementing its national commitments. Despite all the circumstances and what has been said and is being said, it continues to achieve what is required of it and what it pledged within its program. After arranging the service files, resolving congestion and the food basket, it was the turn of Iraqi diplomacy.
After the successful participation of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani in the work of the United Nations General Assembly, the official government spokesman, Bassem al-Awadi, announced the completion of an intensive diplomatic action plan to strengthen Iraq's relations, considering the Iraqi-American agreement to end the presence of the international coalition in Iraq next year a "historic achievement."
Al-Awadi told Al-Sabah: “The government was able, in a very sensitive situation at the regional and global level, and with complex internal political circumstances among the parties negotiating with it, to reach a joint agreement to end the mission of the international coalition to fight ISIS in Iraq, and that it must end its presence by September 2025. The government was also able to reach an agreement to end Iraq’s role in enabling the coalition inside Syria by 2026.”
He stressed that “reaching an agreement of this kind in these complex circumstances, through negotiation and diplomacy, and without negative political, economic, financial and security effects in Iraq, can be described as a historic achievement, and it will ensure the safety and security of Iraq and Iraqis.”
The official government spokesman said: “We have completed an intensive diplomatic action plan to strengthen Iraq’s relations, and there will be important international visits during the coming period, so that Iraq has the presence and influence it deserves in the course of events.
