    Information / Baghdad..
The head of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, MP Karim Al-Muhammadawi, confirmed on Monday that his committee will follow up on the implementation of the agreement regarding the withdrawal of the international coalition forces announced by the government, including the American forces, step by step.
Al-Muhammadawi told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The committee is fully confident in the ability of all our security forces to protect our lands through the combat experience they have."
He added, "We will follow up on the recent government agreement concluded between the Iraqi and American sides step by step," indicating that "any foreign military presence in Iraq does not give us absolute sovereignty over the country."
The government announced an agreement between it and the coalition forces, through which a complete withdrawal of those forces was reached for a period not exceeding the end of next year. End /25M
