    Baghdad -
An alliance for the parliamentary people announced, today, Monday, its intention to call for the suspension of the salaries of deputies boycotting parliament sessions.
And the coalition said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "We decided from the beginning that we would not be part of a quota government or participants in power-sharing, and that we should be satisfied with our role in parliamentary work," noting that "since the founding of the coalition, we have been keen to be the beating body of the political process and have committed to His deputies attend all council sessions, out of his belief in respecting the will of the people and in respect of the electoral process and constitutional entitlements.
He added, "In light of the current political impasse, the Alliance for the People bloc initiated on the twenty-fifth of last month a request to the Speaker and his two deputies to hold an emergency session of the House of Representatives on the seventh of May to resolve the crisis," noting their affirmation of commitment to this initiative and adherence to it. In light of the failure to hold this session and the continued paralysis in the work of the Parliament and the disruption of the people’s interests.”
The coalition vowed to proceed with filing a legal case with the Federal Court to demand the suspension of the salaries of MPs who continue to boycott the sessions, considering that this is a perversion of the constitutional oath.
And regarding the initiatives launched by the political blocs in which they called on independent representatives to choose an independent prime minister, the coalition affirmed their keenness and desire to communicate with all independent representatives, pointing to full readiness to support the formation of the government adopted by any independent party without their participation in it and their affirmation of their commitment to attend all parliamentary sessions, and will not They will be a reason to disrupt the political process.”
And he added, “We will give our votes to any figure agreed upon by the independent representatives to form the next government, according to the following conditions:
First: That he be an independent, patriotic Iraqi who does not have any suspicion of corruption, and that he not be of dual nationals.
Second: That he was not involved with the parties in power in the past and was not part of the quota governments.
Third: That all political blocs and independent representatives pledge not to interfere or impose wills, neither in the process of forming the government nor in its management later by the person in charge, so that the next government will not be a government of quotas.
Fourth: That the person in charge presents a realistic government program that touches people's lives and their requirements and addresses challenges that afflict the Iraqi reality in all areas of life.
