    Baghdad Al-Karkh Health Department - Media Division concluded its participation in the largest media training workshop at the country level organized by the Ministry of Health in cooperation with UNICEF under the supervision of training by the Ansem Foundation for Digital Rights for a period of five days with the participation of media staff in the Ministry of Health and health departments (Baghdad Al-Karkh, Baghdad Al-Rusafa Medical City, Forensic Medicine, Karbala, Babylon, Wasit, Anbar, Najaf, Diwaniyah, Anbar)
    The course included delivering scientific and specialized lectures in an interactive manner that relies on methods of participation, interaction and brainstorming, to bring the participant to advanced levels in media skills.


    The lectures were delivered by a number of accredited international trainers in Iraq and UNESCO, which included topics (safe alternatives to online communication, how to build an effective digital security strategy, types of press writing, press release, traditional press writing and modern journalism, content creation for Facebook). And Twitter, storytelling, visual identity, infographics, video stories, innovative digital content, building digital communities and strengthening the relationship with the audience, visual representation of data) and applying the ice-breaking method between the lecturer and the recipient and providing a detailed explanation about images and their types in addition to conducting Practical work projects for examples of educational operations of various kinds carried out by the Ministry of Health

    It is worth noting that the Ministry of Health and UNICEF, as a first stage, trained a number of media professionals in health departments in Erbil governorate, and the current session is in Baghdad. The third phase will be a session in Basra governorate. The aim of these courses and workshops is to develop media capabilities and Developing the creative skills of workers in media divisions and units in the Ministry of Health and health directorates in all governorates by UNICEF experts in the field of media and digital media.
