Shafaq News / An informed source in the coordination framework explained, on Monday, that the meeting that will be held by the leaders of the framework, will discuss a number of proposals to solve the political crisis, including the formation of a committee whose mission is to discuss with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, to reverse the decision to withdraw.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "The meeting, which is hoped to be held this evening, may lead to the issuance of a unified statement calling on the Sadrist bloc to reverse this decision, in addition to forming a committee to negotiate with al-Sadr, to reverse its last decision, and to represent all the forces of the framework, as they want stability." They reject the chaos and the chaos of the street or stir it up with demonstrations.”
Yesterday, Sunday, al-Sadr directed deputies of the Sadrist bloc in the Iraqi parliament to hand over their resignation to the Speaker of the Council, Muhammad al-Halbousi, while he thanked his allies in the "Save the Homeland" coalition and told them that they "are in a solution."
Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi signed the resignations of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies, in the presence of Parliamentary Bloc leader Hassan al-Adhari, and then commented, “Their resignations took place reluctantly,” referring to efforts made to dissuade al-Sadr from this step.
Shafaq News Agency learned about an upcoming meeting scheduled to be held by Kurdish leader Massoud Barzani, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, and head of the Sovereignty Alliance Khamis al-Khanjar, described as "important" to take a "unified" decision after the Sadrist bloc withdrew from the Iraqi parliament.
