    Baghdad - conscious - Muhammad Al-Talbi
Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Planning identified the reasons for the high rates of inflation in Iraq, while confirming that this rise is within normal levels .
Ministry spokesman Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the rise and fall of inflation is affected by economic conditions, the size of the monetary mass, and the prices of goods and services," noting, "Inflation worldwide is witnessing a rise in its rates, as it reached the highest affected rate." The global food crisis and the aftermath of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
He added, "Iraq is part of the global economic system that is affected by such conditions," stressing that "inflation indicators have risen in Iraq during the past months, but the rises are still within the normal rates and have not reached unbridled levels as described in economic conventions."
