The Iraqi government set the Eid al-Adha holiday.
The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers said in a statement, "The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, directed, during the regular twenty-fifth session of the Council of Ministers, held on 2/7/2022, the following."
And she added, “The blessed Eid al-Adha holiday begins on Saturday, corresponding to 9/7/2022, and ends on Thursday, corresponding to 7/14/2022, associated with the founding of the Republic of Iraq, provided that official working hours will resume in all government institutions, on Sunday, corresponding to 7/17/2022".
