    [size=45]An official at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kurdistan Regional Government said that three European countries want to transfer agricultural technology to the region, adding that a Dutch organization wants to implement 15 agricultural projects in the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
    [size=45]Karim Suleiman, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government, said: "Our efforts continue to shift from the traditional agricultural system towards institutionalizing the agricultural sector through agricultural industrialization."[/size]
    [size=45]He added, "Our advisory team is working with the Netherlands on this important and strategic issue to transfer the experience and expertise of agricultural technology from the Netherlands, France, Poland and many other countries to the Kurdistan Region," noting that "notable steps have been taken to build greenhouses and change traditional methods of farming, all of which is from for the industrialization of agricultural production.[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that "a Dutch organization intends to implement 15 agricultural projects in the Kurdistan Region. These projects include several areas such as encouraging farmers to cultivate using modern methods, managing agriculture and irrigation, and ways to dispose of their agricultural products."[/size]
    [size=45]Karim Suleiman explained, "The Dutch organization informed us that after farmers harvest the products of these agricultural projects, they will be exported to markets outside the Kurdistan Region in order to market the production of the farmers of the Kurdistan Region in global markets."[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed that the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government supports the agricultural sector and wants agriculture to move towards exporting local products and industrializing the agricultural sector.[/size]
