    A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee Ahmed Al-Rubaie confirmed today, Saturday, that the committee will follow up the work of the administration of the Ministry of Finance, while noting that the corruption files related to the ministers will remain open to the integrity and the Iraqi judiciary until their convictions are proven.


    Al-Rubaie said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "Integrity, as a sectoral committee, is among the priorities of our work to follow up on all corruption files that occur in all parts of the state, whether they are governorates, ministries or state departments."

    He added, "The [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1934020434/%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D8%B2%D8%A7%D9%87%D8%A9/ar/]Integrity Committee[/url] will follow up the files of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/3238106360/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]Ministry of Finance[/url]'s administration and its work in coordination with other regulatory authorities, such as the Integrity and [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1587730401/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%82%D8%B6%D8%A7%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]Judiciary Commission[/url]."






    A member of the Parliamentary [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1934020434/%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D8%B2%D8%A7%D9%87%D8%A9/ar/]Integrity Committee[/url] explained that "some corruption files that pertain to the ministries will remain under the gaze of the judiciary, the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1286455878/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D9%84%D9%84%D9%86%D8%B2%D8%A7%D9%87%D8%A9/ar/]Integrity Commission[/url] and the relevant authorities, considering the accused is innocent until proven guilty," noting that "many people's files will remain on the table, so that they can be held accountable when proven. The judiciary and supervisory authorities convicted them.

    Member of Parliament Basem Khashan had revealed, earlier, new corruption files that are chasing Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, in what he considered one of the huge windows of corruption in the current government, revealing moves to refer him to the judiciary.
