the parliamentary extension bloc emanating from the Tishreen movement confirmed, on Monday, its inability to stand in front of forming a consensual government, explaining the reason for preparing its deputies in Parliament.
Member of the bloc, Representative Haider al-Salami, said in an exclusive interview with Mawazine News Agency, that the presence of Tishreen's political representatives is an extension of the public presence, indicating that we did not want demands to resign from the leaders or the masses.
He continued, "We are continuing to achieve the demands of the masses, and that the political line is parallel to the protest line, stressing that despair has not struck us with the presence of these masses, which gives us a greater incentive to achieve our demands."
Al-Salami indicated, "Our role in the session to choose the president of the republic will be opposing, and we will not be with any tendencies to form a consensus government that has destroyed the country for more than 18 years, and we cannot be part of it or enable it."
Al-Salami pointed out that if this government is formed, it is not our fault because our numbers are few, and the game in Parliament now is the game of preparation, pointing out that the readings will be clear before the presidential election session, and the parties who attend the session and who will boycott will know.
