Today, Tuesday, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the OPEC Plus group's production cut is linked to market stability and its requirements, while stressing the rejection of the policy of threat and intimidation.
The ministry said, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that it "follows up on the reactions to the decision of OPEC Plus to reduce oil production and the interactions that the decision reflected, and confirms that the path that was relied upon within the organization expresses a technical vision related to the stability of oil markets and its requirements and the organization of the process." Supply and demand and protect the interests of producers and consumers, and they must be approached on technical grounds, in their economic context and with a collective agreement between the OPEC Plus countries.
She added, "The ministry rejects any policy aimed at pressure, and supports the position of the organization, especially the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in this regard, the ministry calls for the necessity of addressing every dispute concerning this issue through natural means and in the context of direct and balanced dialogue, and in a manner that reflects the importance of international partnership in efforts to devote Security and stability in the region and the world.” Ended 29 / p. 87
