The President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received a phone call from the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the call, President Erdoğan extended his congratulations to President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on his election as President of the Republic, noting his country's desire to strengthen historical relations between the two countries and activate constructive bilateral cooperation aimed at achieving stability in the region at the political, economic and security levels.
For his part, the President of the Republic thanked the Turkish President for his kind congratulations, explaining the importance of relations with neighboring Turkey and the need to strengthen them in various fields in a way that secures common interests and achieves the aspirations of the two friendly peoples for development and well-being.
