Foreign remittances to the Central Bank of Iraq rise to more than 100 million dollars

Shafaq News agency reporter stated that the Central Bank sold today, during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, 134 million and 335 thousand dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar.
Our correspondent added that most of these sales went to enhance the balances abroad in the form of transfers and credits, amounting to 102 million and 35 thousand dollars, after it was yesterday, Wednesday, 84 million dollars, while the rest went in the form of cash sales, which amounted to 32 million and 300 thousand dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that 19 banks have met requests to consolidate balances abroad, and 12 banks have met cash requests, in addition to 84 mediation companies.
