    Shafaq News Agency publishes, on Monday, the program for the government of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, which included several files, most of which touched the lives of citizens, and were difficult for successive Iraqi governments, despite their importance.




    Services

    In the services file, the government program included "the completion of stalled projects, and gave priority to sanitation, water, schools, and hospital projects."
    As well as distributing 500,000 housing plots with soft loans, to establish new residential cities with full services, in addition to opening six large hospitals in the governorates (Babylon, Najaf, Dhi Qar, Karbala, Maysan, Basra, and Tikrit).
    The program also included the completion of lagging hospital projects (Basra, with 400 beds, Maysan, with 400 beds, and Anbar, with 200 beds), as well as the issuance of the fourth license to establish a national telecommunications company, which would undertake to improve service and reduce prices.
    The government program also included the opening of 13 health/public centers in different governorates, the opening of 4 centers specialized in treating cancer (Basra, Maysan, Dhi Qar, and Kirkuk), and the rehabilitation of the Canal Hotel and its conversion into a private hospital for drug treatment.
    Also in terms of services, specifically in the file of school buildings, it was decided to rehabilitate 2,000 schools, and build 2,000 to 5,000 schools / within the Iraq Fund for Development - Education Sector.
    As for traffic, the government program included starting an integrated project to remove traffic jams in Baghdad by building tunnels, overpasses, bridges and rehabilitating highways.
    Energy and electricity
    In the energy and electricity file, the Sudanese government's program stated the start of a large and urgent campaign for the maintenance of electric power production stations, and the completion of secondary stations projects (132KV, 400KV), the first phase.
    In addition, the installation of mobile stations (33KV) will be completed, the implementation and splitting of new feeders (33KV, 11KV), the completion of combined cycle projects, the completion of expansion projects, the removal of bottlenecks, installation and mobile stations (132KV, 400KV), and the completion of transmission lines (400KV, 132KV). ), and the central transformation project and building a central system for issuing electricity bills and preparing the MDMS system.
    This energy file also included the completion of the solar energy project, Salah al-Din thermal projects, the completion of the Anbar complex station, and the completion of private investment stations projects.
    Poverty and unemployment
    The government program included several steps to address poverty and unemployment, including improving and raising the items of the food basket, increasing the number of those covered by the social welfare network, increasing the subsidy rate, increasing the number of "full-time helpers" to care for people with disabilities, as well as caring for vulnerable groups and amending Law No. 78 No. 1980.
    In addition, it is also planned to increase the loans to support small projects by increasing the fund’s capital four times over its current amounts, and establishing free zones (Zubayr, Nineveh, Al-Qaim) and in Khor Al-Zubayr specialized in oil and gas.
    Through the governmental Al-Sudani program, industrial cities will be established in Anbar, Karbala, Najaf, Wasit, and Nineveh, and the pharmaceutical industrial city will be established, and a joint development fund will be established with the World Bank to address poverty and unemployment, in addition to activating the Coordinating Council to support the private sector, and launching medium and small projects. by the Ministry of Industry.
    anti-Corruption
    Perhaps the anti-corruption file is the most difficult file in the Sudanese government’s program, which included amending the Integrity and Illicit Gain Law, reforming oversight institutions, activating investigations into previous files of oil smuggling and others, and investigating corruption files that accompanied contracts and previous decisions.
    The government program included steps to complete the unified treasury account, and an integrated electronic tax system project.
    reform the economy
    Among the priorities of the Sudanese government program is the completion of an urgent plan for the distribution of water quotas for the advancement of the agricultural sector, starting implementation and ending until the summer of 2023.
    Likewise, supplying farmers with urea fertilizer that is subsidized by 50% to grow wheat products, equipping farmers with Dab fertilizer that is subsidized by 50% to grow wheat products, distributing seeds that are subsidized by 70% to grow wheat, and adopting technology in irrigation projects.
    Through this program, it is scheduled to proceed with the integrated southern project, rehabilitate the 85 factories in partnership with the private sector, and approve the partnership law between the public and private sectors.
    Strategic projects
    The government program also included the resumption of work on the suspended train project, the doubling of work on the Al-Faw Grand Port project, the completion of dry canal projects (external road and rail projects), and the completion of the Basra water desalination project.
    Elections and displaced persons
    The government program included holding local elections next October, returning all the displaced to their areas of residence according to an integrated program of work (social security), and completing an integrated plan to remove the Iraqi army from cities and towns and hand over its security file to the Ministry of Interior.
