    The Central Bank of Iraq's cash sales of US dollars rose to more than $62 million in an auction today, Wednesday, approaching foreign sales remittances with the participation of 31 banks.
    Also, the Central Bank sold during its auction today, for the sale and purchase of US dollars, 138 million and 274 thousand and 640 dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar.
    In addition, cash sales rose in today's auction to reach 62,290,000 dollars, while remittances and foreign credits amounted to 75,984,640 dollars. It is noteworthy that the number of banks that bought cash dollars also increased, reaching 19 banks, while the number of banks that responded to requests for strengthening balances abroad reached 13 banks.
