The Federal Ministry of Education announced the launch of mid-year exams for the intermediate and preparatory stages throughout Iraq.
The ministry said in a statement that "hundreds of thousands of students went to schools to take mid-year exams," noting that it "harnessed all material and human capabilities, in coordination with the bodies supporting its work, to ensure the smooth running of the examination process."
And the statement continued, "The Minister of Education, Dr. Ibrahim Names Al-Jubouri, expressed his thanks to the teachers, teachers, and administrators who monitor the halls and the supervision committees present with them, and he is confident that they will manage the exams efficiently and competently."
The statement pointed out that "the current year will not include a third round for all academic levels, after it was voted to cancel it by the Opinion Council in the past sessions."
The Ministry of Education had announced, earlier, the dates of mid-year exams, final exams for finished and unfinished classes, and preliminary exams for external students for the academic year (2022-2023) and for all stages.
