    Representative Alia Nassif warned, on Wednesday, of the attempts of a group of members, whom she described as “corrupt,” to target the head of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Ziad Al-Janabi, in ways that are not related to parliamentary work and violate the most basic standards of integrity.[/size]
    [size=45]Nassif said in a statement, “The targeting reached the point where the corrupt leader of this (clique) paid sums of money and cars to the rest of the members of the corrupt gang in exchange for their mistreatment of al-Janabi by exploiting the issue of his testimony, which had previously been decided by the Ministry of Education and the competent courts; The judiciary does not consider the same case twice.[/size]
