The delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government returns to Erbil and confirms the continuation of the talks with Baghdad

Shafaq News/ The negotiating delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government has returned to Erbil after it conducted a two-day visit to Baghdad with the aim of resolving the differences and outstanding issues between the two sides, according to what was announced today, Tuesday, by the head of the cabinet of the region, Omid Sabah.
As Omid Sabah indicated in today's statement, the delegation met during the visit with the Iraqi Ministry of Oil regarding the oil and gas law, as well as with the relevant parties regarding the budget law.
He added that the delegation met during its visit with the US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski.
On the other hand, the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government met with the Chairman of the Finance Committee in the Iraqi Parliament, Atwan Al-Atwani.
"Our discussions will continue until we reach a solution to the outstanding issues, especially the oil and gas law and the draft budget law," he said.
