Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said, yesterday, Tuesday, that Iraq needs German technological capabilities to build the economy and infrastructure.
Hussein said, in a press conference with his German counterpart, Analina Berbock, during her visit to Baghdad: "We thank Berlin for its support for Baghdad in the war against ISIS gangs, and we thank the German Parliament for its recognition of the genocide of the Yazidis," pointing out that "Iraq needs German technological capabilities to build the economy." and infrastructure.”
He added, "During the meeting, we discussed the issue of treating Iraqi refugees in Germany, how to end the Al-Hol camp file in Syria, and the continuation of withdrawing German nationals from the camp, as well as discussing the Russian-Ukrainian war," calling for "a cease-fire and an end to the ongoing war."
He continued, "We also discussed the climate change file, and Germany is able to help Iraq in this field."
