    Today, Saturday, the Federal Integrity Commission monitored delay in a project and irregularities in leasing a property without its real value in Basra Governorate, indicating that their amounts amounted to (16,000,000,000) billion dinars.


    The authority stated, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "a contract for a project for commercial advertising barriers has been seized for the requirements of the Gulf Championship (25) after work on the project has stopped, the completion rate of which has reached (49%) so far, pointing out that there is no need for it after the end of the championship." .




    The department added: "The contract, which costs (8,175,000,000) billion dinars, was seized in the Basra Governorate Office - Accounts Department," noting that "the length of the advertising wall is (9 km and 150 m), and that the executing company has completed Approximately (4 km) from it only,” pointing out that “the materials related to the project are still in the warehouses of the executing company.”

    And she added, "The team of the Basra Investigation Directorate, which moved to the provincial office and the State Real Estate Department, seized the firsts of a property located in the commercial center in the Al-Ashar area, due to the presence of administrative and financial violations that accompanied its leasing, construction of buildings, and their use as shops."

    She explained that "the property, which belongs to the State Real Estate Department, with an area of ​​(6) dunams and an estimated value of (6,000,000) million dollars, was rented without her knowledge, in addition to the fact that the rental amount is not commensurate with its distinguished commercial location, which led to damage to the property." Public money".
