    Today, Saturday, the Sanad Parliamentary Bloc indicated notes on the draft budget law 2023, while confirming that the bloc’s deputies submitted their recommendations to the relevant committees to amend the paragraphs.
    A member of the political bureau of the bloc, Ali al-Fatlawi, said in an interview with the information agency, "The members of the House of Representatives in the Sanad bloc indicated that there are some observations on the draft budget for the current year," pointing out that "these observations will be submitted to the relevant parliamentary committees, which in turn will present them." the Presidency of Parliament.
    He added, "Among these observations is the rise in prices in the local markets, knowing the mechanism to reduce them and maintaining the stability of prices, in order to control the dollar."
    As for oil prices, the leader of the Sanad Parliamentary Bloc explained, "Oil prices are not fixed and are always changing according to global markets and the security and economic conditions in the whole world."
    And Al-Fatlawi stated, "There are constants that were established and observations that were evaluated by members of the House of Representatives, in this regard, which will be submitted through parliamentary committees, whether financial, economic or energy, to amend them during the upcoming parliamentary sessions."
    Earlier today, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Representative Mudar Al-Karawi, announced that 70% of the 2023 budget report had been completed, suggesting that it be put forward for a second reading this week.
    The Parliamentary Finance Committee has been conducting intensive meetings for days in order to study the items of the 2023 budget and present a detailed report on its vision to the House of Representatives. Ended / 25R
