    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq today:

The House of Representatives affirmed that the salary scale law is the competence of the government, not the legislative authority.[/rtl]

[rtl]Member of Parliament, Wafaa Al-Shammari, said, in a press interview, that "the law comes out of the Council of Ministers and comes to the House of Representatives and is voted upon after the amendment, and that the legislative authority is not competent with the salary scale law," indicating: "Rather, the government must send it to the House of Representatives and the latter shall Read it and add some notes to it, then send it to the government, and then return to the House of Representatives to vote on it.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Shammari explained, "The amendment of the salary scale law will do justice to all employees in all ministries, as there is a big difference in the salaries of employees. Some ministries have very high salaries, while others are less, and there is prejudice against them.”[/rtl]
[rtl]And she added: "They must be equal with the rest of the ministries, first because of their fairness, and secondly because of the difficult life and the high price of the dollar, which affected the employee's life in general."[/rtl]
[rtl]And she emphasized: "If the salary scale law is amended, it will do justice to employees in all ministries, as well as revive the Iraqi employee."[/rtl]
[rtl]She pointed out, "There is public pressure, as well as pressure from members of the House of Representatives, in books to the Council of Ministers in this regard, and we are serious about this issue, and we hope that it will be resolved soon." [/rtl]
