    [size=45]On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, inaugurated the 13th International Building, Construction and Construction Exhibition on the grounds of the Erbil International Fair, with the participation of about 214 leading construction and construction companies from 11 countries, which lasts for four days. .[/size]
    [size=45]The President of the Government of Kurdistan toured the corridors of the exhibition, and he also looked closely at the miniature models, engineering designs and construction products that keep pace with the progress in construction and construction. He also praised the companies participating in the exhibition in order to enhance the construction and construction sector and engineering projects.[/size]
    [size=45]The most prominent countries participating in the exhibition are: Iraq, Turkey, India, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon and the UAE.[/size]

    [size=45]The investment and industry sector in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq continues to grow, after the liberation of the areas affected by ISIS attacks, and the increase in oil revenues, which was positively reflected in the growth of the industry and construction sector in the country.[/size]
    [size=45]The main investment infrastructure in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq includes water supply projects, sewage treatment plants, electricity production plants, hospitals, schools, roads, ponds, dams, ports, bridges, and industrial areas.[/size]
    [size=45]According to unofficial statistics, the volume of investment in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq in reconstruction, rehabilitation and construction projects amounts to $100 billion, and both the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government have plans to attract foreign investors, with the aim of investing their capital in projects in the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
    [size=45]During a symposium on the sidelines of the exhibition, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government stressed the importance of ensuring the quality of construction and the need for it to be compatible with the geographical and environmental conditions and the safety of citizens, and stressed the need for cooperation between the public and private sectors to ensure the implementation of projects that meet the needs of society.[/size]
    [size=45]The prime minister indicated that the program of the ninth ministerial formation is mainly service-oriented and focuses heavily on providing services, indicating that construction and reconstruction require specific principles that must be observed, including setting prices for housing units and meeting the needs of citizens in a way that can be optimally utilized.[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed the need to pay attention to the quality of construction and not to sacrifice it in order to offer housing units at reduced prices, and that these projects must reflect the beauty of cities and take care of green spaces, and that construction in them is not limited to concrete materials only, but also includes services for people with special needs.[/size]
    [size=45]He said that the Kurdistan Regional Government is currently working on a program to construct 20,000 housing units for tenants and people with limited income, and there are other housing units that will be distributed free of charge to the families of the martyrs in all the provinces of the region.[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister stressed that the continuous increase in the number of foreign companies participating in these exhibitions, such as exhibitions, is a positive indicator that enhances the status of the Kurdistan Region and meets the requirements of citizens.[/size]
