The postponement of the parliamentary session to one in the afternoon for lack of a quorum

Baghdad-Iraq-Presse -24 September / Spettmr: the Presidency of the Parliament decided to postpone the hearing to the 19th one in the afternoon for lack of a quorum legal.

It was decided to hold the presidency of the parliament session on Wednesday instead of tomorrow, Thursday, after the announcement of the Iraqi government for a public holiday, tomorrow, on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad peace be upon him.

According to a statement to the media circle that "the agenda includes the swearing-in of members of the House of Representatives who were holding government positions and replacements for who occupied ministerial positions or vice-president of the republic.".

He added, "The table includes meeting the first reading of a draft law on ratification of the Convention on the Promotion and Protection of Investment between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the first reading of a draft law on ratification of an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the State of Kuwait for the encouragement and reciprocal protection of investment and the first reading of the draft law exemption Iraqi companies and executing foreign investment projects from taxes and fees. "

The statement said, "include the meeting is also the first reading of draft laws exempt foreign companies and subcontractors of foreign contractors in decades licensing rounds of fees and the second amendment to the Investment Law No. (13) for the year 2006, and the ratification of the Convention on the economic and trade cooperation and scientific and technical cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Republic of Armenia. ".
