    Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: Today, Friday, the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani, issued directives to serve the visitors of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
    A statement by the Ministry of Oil stated, “With the aim of field follow-up to the services provided to visitors in the holy governorate of Karbala, the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul Ghani, held a meeting with those in charge of the Oil Ministry’s operations room in the holy Karbala.”
    Abdul-Ghani emphasized, “Implementing the Prime Minister’s directive to harness all the capabilities of the government effort to raise the level of services provided to visitors, and to review the nature and progress of securing petroleum products provided for visitors’ service processions.”
    He referred to "continuing to equip and support the mechanisms and vehicles of other service ministries, by securing all their fuel needs through fixed and mobile distribution outlets, as well as securing the needs of all electric power stations and private generators of "kerosene" fuel and other products.
    He added that the directives included “visiting a number of distribution outlets in the governorate and reviewing the operations of processing oil products for service convoys and citizens, in addition to visiting the free ice production plant that opened this week, which was implemented by the Oil Products Distribution Company with a capacity of (1000-1500).     The Minister of Oil instructed, “oil companies to provide drinking water and other needs for visitors, through fixed and mobile sites and vehicles, in addition to actively participating in transporting visitors to and from the holy governorate for free, and providing service and logistical support to the governorate in coordination with the governorate administration and the operations room.
