The Secretary-General of the Bayariq al-Khair Movement, Muhammad al-Khalidi, confirmed on Saturday that it is not possible for Sunni political forces to achieve positive results as happened in the 2021 elections.

In an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The Sunni forces wishing to continue competing in the upcoming December 18 elections will face four important variables that may overthrow their ambitions, the most prominent of which is the double reluctance to vote as a result of failure to fulfill pledges, in addition to withdrawals, debates, and the involvement of some of them in corruption files that raise many signs.” "The question is in light of the extreme wealth experienced by some forces."
He added, "The results of 2021 will not be repeated for the Sunni forces in the provincial council elections next January 18, pointing out that" surprises will be the master of the situation in any case."
