    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq today:[/rtl]
    [rtl] The Supreme Committee for Implementing the Joint Security Agreement between the Republic of Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran announced the achievement of a successful mission in implementing the terms of the agreement. Thanks to the joint efforts of the federal government and the regional government, the headquarters located near the border with Iran that were occupied by Iranian opposition groups were permanently evacuated.

    According to a statement issued by the committee, published on the page of the Iraqi National Security Adviser, viewed by (Iraq Today), these opponents were transferred to places far from the border, and their weapons were removed from them in preparation for them being “Considered refugees in accordance with the controls of the UNHCR.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]The statement added, “The aforementioned areas were permanently monitored through the presence of the Federal Border Forces, and the Iraqi flag was raised in those areas. The representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations attended the meeting held in Erbil and Baghdad and Expressed full support for the Iraqi government in implementing the terms of the agreement.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]The statement continued, “Iraq affirms that border security is a shared responsibility between the two countries, and this agreement is considered a reference for resolving any dispute or violation that occurs. Iraq hopes to continue the as a peaceful means to resolve any problems or dialogue disagreements, in order to strengthen the distinguished relations between the two peoples."

    The statement noted, “The process of removing opponents from the border areas and moving them away from them represents an important step towards stability and security, and our responsibility requires protecting them and completing the implementation of the other stages of the agreement.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]The statement called, “We call on all parties to refrain from negative statements and support joint action and continued cooperation for the benefit of the two countries.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]It is noteworthy that the Supreme Committee for Implementing the Joint Security Agreement is headed by the Iraqi National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji.[/rtl]
