Today, Wednesday, October 4, 2023, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received the Chargé d'Affairs at the US Embassy in Iraq, David Berger.[/size]
[size=45]During the meeting, the latest developments and general conditions in Iraq were discussed, and the need to guarantee and secure the constitutional and financial rights of the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
[size=45]The two sides agreed on the importance of resuming Kurdistan Region oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan as soon as possible.[/size]
[size=45]The meeting also witnessed confirmation of holding Kurdistan Parliament elections on the scheduled date.[/size]
[size=45]The Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Iraq expressed his thanks to the Kurdistan Regional Government for its rapid response in providing a helping hand to those affected by the Hamdaniyah (Baghdida) fire incident. He also praised the peaceful coexistence enjoyed by the various components of the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
