The head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, called for all Iraqi people to stand up against the attempt to “empty the laws of regulatory agencies of their content.” While he stressed the importance of raising awareness of the culture of everyone’s submission to justice and accountability, regardless of their positions, he pointed out The role of jurists in spreading legal culture and respecting regulations and legislation.
During his visit to the Union of Jurists and the meeting with the President of the Union, the Executive Office, and the heads of the Union’s branches in the governorates, Judge Haider Hanoun stressed the need for some laws to be amended to adapt them to the current circumstances and challenges facing state institutions.
