The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee has completed the National Security and Intelligence Laws, and they will be voted on during the next legislative term, especially since these two laws contribute to serving the nation.
Committee member, Karim Aliwi, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: “The National Security Law is one of the most important laws at the present time, as it concerns the security situation in Iraq, and the committee is interested in the law, and the Deputy Minister of National Security and some security specialists were hosted by the same agency.” The law was completed after putting the final touches, and the draft is now under voting.”
Aliwi explained that “there are many controversial matters that led to its withdrawal from the agenda due to its fragility,” pointing out that “the many observations that were identified by government and parliamentary committees have been addressed legally,” noting that “the law will be voted on during the legislative term.” Next, in addition to the Intelligence Law, they will be voted on in a session
one".
