Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed today, Monday (January 8, 2024), during the opening of the first school buildings within the Iraqi-Chinese agreement project in the city of Nasiriyah, that school projects represent an important link to support the education sector.
Al-Sudani’s media office stated in a statement received by “Baghdad Today” that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani opened the first model school buildings in the Sumer neighborhood in the city of Nasiriyah, within the project of the Iraqi-Chinese agreement.”
Al-Sudani blessed, “Completing the school building, which includes 12 classrooms, and proceeding with the schools project, which will include 106 school buildings in Dhi Qar Governorate, out of 1,000 school buildings throughout Iraq.”
The Prime Minister praised the high quality of implementation, stressing that “school projects represent an important link in the government’s efforts to support the education sector, by completing the required infrastructure, with high performance and within the specified timings and schedules.”
