    Hussein Al-Saadi:
Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed that the cleanliness of the capital is the responsibility of all service sectors and needs development, while he indicated that the government is continuing with the approach of localizing the pharmaceutical industry in Iraq.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement: “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani hosted a number of cleaning workers working in the Baghdad Municipality, at the iftar table for the holy month of Ramadan, in the presence of the Mayor of Baghdad.”
Al-Sudani stated, according to the statement, “This hosting is an affirmation of our pride in the sanitation workers, honoring them and praising their honorable work that calls for pride, as the people and youth of Iraq assume the responsibility of ensuring what Baghdad deserves in terms of a clean appearance and preserving its beauty.”
Al-Sudani stressed that “the cleanliness of the capital is the responsibility of all service sectors, and it needs further development, especially with regard to waste recycling, as a contract will soon be concluded with one of the companies specialized in this field, in addition to the importance of presenting the capital in a manner befitting its history and reputation.”
Al-Sudani listened to the problems of the workers, and the most important administrative and operational obstacles that a number of them face, and directed them to be removed. He followed the progress of implementing the file of land entitlements allocated to workers in the Baghdad Municipality. He also inquired from the audience about the level of the people’s cooperation with them in maintaining cleanliness, which he described as a solidarity responsibility. The citizen bears his share of it, so that the capital remains a civilized face for visitors, especially in municipal departments that witness additional momentum on days of religious occasions and visits.”
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement, received by Al-Zawraa: “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani received the head of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, Haider Fouad al-Sayegh, and his accompanying delegation.”
The statement added, “Al-Sudani listened to a detailed review of the reality of pharmaceutical work in Iraq, the pharmaceutical services provided in the health care sector, the union’s role in harnessing the scientific energies of young people in this field, and the plans prepared for development.”
The Prime Minister indicated - during the meeting - that “the government is proceeding with the approach of localizing the pharmaceutical industry in Iraq, as several measures have been taken and the necessary facilities have been provided to support investors and companies specialized in the pharmaceutical industry. These steps are derived from the objectives of the government program in improving the health sector in general, including the pharmaceutical industry.” .
The Prime Minister directed, “to follow up on the requests submitted regarding allocating land to establish industrial cities for pharmaceutical industries in Iraq to localize the pharmaceutical industry, to establish residential complexes for pharmacists, and to build headquarters for the representatives of the Pharmacists Syndicate in the governorates, as well as to follow up on the establishment of a private bank to invest and finance various pharmaceutical projects.”[/size]
